What is the length of XPY in terms of pi?
4 months ago
Q:
What is the length of XPY in terms of pi?
Accepted Solution
A:
circumference = 2 x PI x r
= 2 x 3.14 x 30 = 60 PI
the area from x to y = 90 degrees
so XPY would be 360 - 90 = 270 degrees or 3/4 of a full circle
so XPY = 60 x 3/4 = 45 PI meters
